Creative Classroom Grants
The Bristol Virginia Public Schools Education Foundation has earmarked funds for use by teachers through a classroom grant process. Creative classroom grants are given in the amount of up to $1,000 each to winning BVPS teachers. The purpose of the grant program is to fund creative classroom projects that are not funded by usual school budgets and provide a unique and results-oriented learning experience for students. The selection is based on innovation, creativity, educational outcomes, and student benefits. Examples of funded projects include classroom supplies, new technologies, field trips, and continuing teacher education.
Fall 2021 Application
The Education Foundation Board will offer two grant periods during the 2021-2022 school year. In order for additional faculty/staff to receive the grant monies, the Fall winners will not be eligible to apply for the Spring grants.
