Permanently-Endowed Funds are established for student scholarships, or in core curricula areas that directly support classroom and/or schoolwide teaching initiatives. Funded by a principal gift, the endowment's invested annual return provides financial support for the scholarship or program on an annual basis in perpetuity. Typically, these permanently-endowed funds are named for a donor's family member, alumnus, distinguished educator, or citizen with exceptional community service.
