Rex Gearheart Memorial Scholarship

The Rex Gearheart Memorial Scholarship was established by his family, which is funded by donations to the Rex Gearheart Memorial Fund.

Rex had a heart for all people, especially those living in poverty, homelessness, and at-risk and was a true example of treating everyone the way he wanted to be treated.

The first annual $1,000 Scholarship was awarded to Joshua Alexander Fayler, Virginia High School Class of 2017.
